Naturopath
About Me
I was compelled from a young age to explore all medical explanations and possibilities – I grew up with a sister born with a rare genetic trisomy. As a six-year-old trying to understand how "jeans" could impact health, I embarked on a lifetime path of research and learning about the human body. Much of my youth was spent exploring many areas of natural therapies, from nutrition and homeopathy to shiatsu and auriculotherapy, to help improve my sister's quality of life.
Life evolved, and after a brief enrolment in psychology, I found my soul's purpose in naturopathic studies. I qualified as a Naturopath in 1995, being the sole recipient of the Graduating Naturopathic Student Award. I integrate over 30 years of clinical experience and continued education into a whole-person approach to my practice, and I truly feel blessed to wake up and look forward to my work.
Training with Jo Grabyn & The ClearPath Method
With a special interest in brain, cognition, and neurological health, my study journey led me to one of Australia's most accomplished practitioners in this field – Jo Grabyn, a certified ReCODE practitioner with Dr Dale Bredesen. I consider myself fortunate to undertake Jo's specialised training. I completed the ClearPath Method Practitioner Training in December 2025, continued with Jo in her mentorship program in early 2026, and then went on to complete the ClearPath Method Practitioner Advanced Training in July 2026.
Who I Help
As a Naturopath, a wellness care plan is tailored to each individual for their developmental needs, and as such, all ages are welcome. It is a privilege to walk alongside anyone who invites me to share in their personal healing journey, and I am committed to matching the dedication and energy you invest in your own healing.
My Approach
My approach combines evidence-based naturopathic care with calm compassion and lived experience – taking the time to deeply understand your unique story with detailed case-taking of your personal and family history. I utilise traditional iridology and pair this with advanced functional testing to gain insight into your nutritional status, your constitutional strengths, and bodily systems that may benefit from support.
Gene profiling is an area I am passionate about. I have dedicated the last 10 years to the study of nutrigenomics and nutritional biochemistry, helping us understand your biological blueprint and potential predispositions. Your genes could be likened to a script and your choices around your environment become the director. I see my role as the facilitator – to help you understand and empower yourself to make decisions conducive to a wellness outcome.
I really believe that when you can understand a process, you are better equipped to make informed decisions. This is the core philosophy I bring into my consultations.
How I Work
Embracing the healing potential of herbal and nutritional medicine, lifestyle modifications, and environmental stewardship, together we support the body's innate healing at every stage of your wellness journey.
Initial consultations require a deep dive into the detail, and we spend two to two-and-a-half hours together – either in clinic, online, or by telephone. In-person consultations are available in Manly, Sydney and Terrigal, Central Coast. Follow-up consultations are timed according to need.
After all, we are born to thrive, not just simply survive.
